Earlier this month, Reliance Jio captured telecom industry by storm when Reliance group announced cheapest 4G data plans in its Jio segment. Chairman Mukesh Ambani also talked about the company’s plans on fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) service in its AGM. FTTH will offer broadband speeds up to 1Gbps.

According to a report, the company’s Jio Giga Fiber plan is open for public testing and details of the tariff plan reveal aggressive pricing. It is worth noting that Reliance has already revealed that it is testing the broadband service plans in certain parts of India internally.

The Fibre plans by the company will be available in Silver, Gold and Platinum tiers where the base price starts at Rs 500. The plans are distributed based on data volume and speeds. The base plan is said to offer 100GB free data for first 90 days along with access to Jio apps such as JioTV, JioCinema, JioBeats and more.

The speed-based tariff plans start at 50mbps and go up to 600mbps. All are valid for 30 days. The 50mbps plan has a massive data cap of 2000GB and will be priced at Rs 1500. The 100mbps plan has 1000GB data cap and will cost Rs 2,000. The 200mbps plan has lower 750GB plan and will cost Rs 3,500, while the 400mbps plan comes with 500GB data limit and will cost Rs 4,000. Lastly, the 600mbps plan comes with 300GB data cap and will cost Rs 5,500 per month.

The company reportedly also offers volume-based tariff monthly broadband plans. These plans range from 5GB to 60GB and are valid for a month. There is no speed limit mentioned as of yet. The basic 5GB per day plan includes free app usage and costs Rs 1,000. In addition, there are special broadband offers as well. These start at Rs 400 and go up to Rs 1,000. The base Rs 400 plan includes one-day of unlimited free Jio app usage. Reports also mentioned that there are three Rs 500 plans. All three are valid for a month.

The first plan will give users 600GB of data at 15mbps valid for 30 days, the second plan will offer 3.5GB data use for a day, valid for 30 days and the third plan offers 72 hours of data use at 60mbps and also has a 30-day validity.

The Rs 800 plan is said to offer unlimited data at 10mbps for a month, while under the Rs 1,000 plan, users get 500GB data at 25mbps for a month.
