eBay India laying off 100 representatives from its Bangalore tech group

It would appear that Trump impact is now working. eBay is laying off about 100 odd representatives from its tech group in Bangalore and moving work to other worldwide focuses.

“As a typical course of business, eBay routinely surveys its operational structure and today we reported a few changes to our worldwide tech group. Accordingly, we are lessening our general innovation workforce in Bangalore and moving work to other worldwide bases on the world,” an eBay representative affirmed.

The cutbacks, which were initially reported by Tech in Asia, are a piece of a worldwide rearrangement of the
tech and item groups, the organization says.”The advancement focus in Bangalore has two groups, the survey group and the tech group,” the representative included.

Without revealing the correct number of individuals to be affected by the choice, the representative said that Bangalore fixates will now concentrate on eBay India – devoted item and advancement work. “We stay focused on India and will keep on investing in center item and innovation improvement for eBay India.”

A year ago, eBay had cut around 350 jobs over its Bangalore and Chennai, according to a few media reports. Representatives crosswise over eBay Marketplaces and PayPal business were purportedly affected in those cutbacks.
