Microsoft partners with Andhra Pradesh government

Microsoft has offered to team up with Andhra Pradesh in the areas of e-governance and digital security, as per official declarartion on Tuesday.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who is at present in Davos, met Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella on Tuesday. Nadella has proposed that Andhra Pradesh should cultivate hybrid cloud technology and as it will be a great strategic jump in innovation for India and Andhra Pradesh specifically, as per an announcement here.

Microsoft has not very long ago acquired LinkedIn and it is also working closely with the Singapore government. A Skill profile of the people, experts and so on are likewise being digitized, said the Microsoft CEO and included that the same might be imitated in Andhra Pradesh.

Naidu said that he is excited about expanding the digital transactions which is at 30 percent now to 70 percent by March this year.
