With recession hitting the global economy and high-end laptops lugging hefty price tags, the UK's longest standing laptop specialist brand marketed in India by a BSE-listed aims to offer technology without burning a hole in users’ pockets. 

Industry Reliable insiders informed that the new laptop by Allied Computers would be fully functional, Windows compatible device at a lowest price tag in the country.

It is believed that the new laptop plays around  simple design of a laptop to make it cost-efficient, along with process reduction to make it feasible for prospective users.

According to Hirji Patel, Managing Director at Allied Computers, the company is going to launch India's super low cost laptop at Rs 4,999 by mid-June. 

Putting more light on the viability of the project, Patel stated, the company is importing the product from China in bulk. With this new project, the company will have thin profit margin. 

Besides this low-cost laptop, the company is also all set to launch latest 3rd generation model equipped with Intel i7 with 32GB RAM for Rs 49,999.
