Google $199 tablet details leaked; Apple, Microsoft worry


Stories surrounding Google's Nexus tablet are in full swing with the latest one talking about its chic looks and intuitive features. It has been speculated that Google's Nexus 7-inch tablet is expected to be unveiled officially as soon as next week. 

With no official word attached to it, the new Google tablet could simply be considered the most exciting Android rumor of recent times. 

Although, Google has kept the specifications sheet completely under wraps, but it is rumored that new tablet will offer Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and a 1280 x 800 IPS display. In addition, it will have a 1.2 megapixel camera on the front, but apparently no camera on the back

According to latest chunk of information, Asustek will manufacture Google tablet and it will be packed with a 1.3Ghz quad-core Tegra 3 processor, a GeForce 12-core graphics processor, and 1GB of RAM. 

As far as pricing is concerned, Google is planning to make its tablet economic on user’s pockets. According to an estimate, 8GB model will cost $199, while the 16GB version will cost $249.

Analysts believe, Google is seeking to take on Apple and Microsoft with its new tablet.

Well! Tech enthusiasts may make innumerable guesses, but the appropriate reply will only be found only when Google finally shows up its tablet officially. Till then, stay tuned.
