Samsung unveils new Smartphone, Genio Touch


Samsung, South Korea based mobile phone maker has introduced a new touchscreen device, called “Genio Touch,” which comes with a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen and TouchWiz interface.  

The new device features a 2-megapixel photo snapper and integration with social networking sites, including Facebook and Twitter. The company has targeted the Genio Touch at the youth market and the people who likes bright colors.

Genio Touch has support for FM radio, haptic feed-back, song recognition software and a series of color versions available, such as Jamaican Yellow and Minimal White.

The company had earlier announced the phone as the Corby, but it seems that the company has relaunched the handset projected price tag of £130 is lowered to £60.  

According to sources, Samsung has unveiled that the handset will be available from all major carriers in UK, but the Jamaican Yellow handset would be available only from The Carphone Warehouse. The company has not announced all the details of the new handset.
