ASUS updates its UL80 series with three new laptops


ASUSTeK Computer Incorporated (ASUS), Taiwan-based PC manufacturer has announced three new 14-inch models in its UL (UnLimited) series of laptops viz. UL80AG-WX014V, UL80V-WX022V and UL80AG-WX008V.

The UL series was launched earlier this year, which is based on Intel's ultrathin CULV platform and are lightweight ultrathin portable PCs.

The new devices are powered by Intel's Core 2 Duo SU7300 processor and come with Microsoft’s Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.

All the three devices measure 330 x 240 x 14/26.8 mm and weigh about 2kg. They boast a brushed aluminum display cover, upto 4GB of RAM and Altec Lansing speakers.

With a price tag of €699, the UL80AG-WX014V and WX008V feature the integrated Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics chipset, and 320GB and 500GB HDDs, respectively. Both devices feature Bluetooth connectivity.

The UL80V-WX022V comes with 500GB hard disk and Nvidia GeForce 210M graphic chip. With a price tag of €799, the laptop also features Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi.
