2011 sets the stage for successful integration of disruptive technologies

It is being expected that IT spending would see a major surge in the coming year; courtesy Cloud Computing, Mobile Networking and Social Media.

According to the leading market research firm, IT spending is expected to grow by 6% and would reach $1.6 trillion next year. The businesses would make use of the above mentioned IT tools to evolve as mature business units; it is likely that with evolution of usage of IT in mainstream segment, the business segments would transform into a competitive landscape.

Further, the reports cited that emerging markets would account for more than half of the anticipated IT spending. The most distinguishing feature for the upcoming year is the successful integration of the so called disruptive technology into a single coalesces and exploiting these to the fullest towards evolving as mature individual business entities.
