Apple’s Macbook Air has become the most chosen product by one-third population on USA as per reports. The new MacBook Air, the lightweight notebook that debuted a month ago has become an instant hit with the consumers globally as well.

Infact, the outlook for other major notebook makers is bleaker. Apple has outpaced all its rivals and emerged victorious especially with its MacBook Air line, featuring a slimmer design, multi-touch glass touchpads and solid-state flash memory. This holiday season is expected to further boost up the sales of this product. A recently conducted survey has shown that  36% people said they would purchase an Apple system within the next 90 days.

One in 10 consumers said that they plan to purchase a laptop in the next 90 days, the highest level of notebook interest in three years as per analysts. Apple’s iPad has been voted as as the No. 1 item on a child's or grandchild's wish list.
