There is a slew of  Android, RIM, WebOS and even Windows-based tablets coming to market recently and now the latest buzz is that notebooks sale is going down owing to their smaller displays . Soon we would have Tablet influx all across the line.

Look at it closely and we have Ipad's nearest rivals Galaxy Tab and Blackberry's Playbook hogging the limelight. The large enterprises are ardently in love with Tablets and we cannot help but remember Mr Bill  Gates; a pure supporter and visionary on tablets. He showed the world what lies ahead in the future, nothing but Tablets.

Now we hear that Microsoft's  claiming the launch of "Slate" around Christmas; thanks to industry insiders.

Another alarming fact is that the chip giants Intel and AMD are lowering there revenue forecasts and Gartner is trimming its global forecasts for laptop shipments owing to weak consumer demand.

Currently IPad sales remain just a fraction of total portable computer sales, but soon the trends indicate a revolution owing to larger number of options and configurations.
