The mobile phones are expected to overtake computers as well as laptops as the most common device for Internet or web access. It is supposed to happen by the year 2013, as smartphones are becoming smarter day – by – day. There are more features as well as facilities to replace the home desktops and laptops as well. Consumers are thinking of the alternatives of the computers or laptops by using smartphones.

The number of phones with browsers is increasing day by day and is expected to reach 1.83 billion as compared to 1.78 billion old fashioned computers. It is also expected that by the year 2014 almost 3 billion of the world’s population will be able to make electronic transactions through Internet Technology as well as Mobile.

About 76 percent of the smartphone users will be able to browse the internet via smartphones in addition to the Internet usage.
