NVIDIA is all set to take the world with “Project Denver” which is being designed in tandem with ARM. Announcing its collaboration with ARM, NVIDIA has grabbed the right to build its own CPU based on ARM’s forthcoming processor architecture.
Both the vendors as a team are working towards powering personal computers, workstations and supercomputers by integrating the high performing chips on the wafer sharing space with NVIDIA GPU. These updates further bolster the chances of Microsoft coming up with System on a Chip (SoC) architecture in the next anticipated version of Windows.
The technology sphere is undergoing an extreme change with mobile processor makers leading the bandwagon of innovation.
Meanwhile, Tegra 2 pitched for mobile devices and now collaboration with ARM processors is yet another sign for NVIDIA making its foray into smartphones, tablets, phones and others. With the anticipated push in the mobile segment and other devices, it seems NVIDIA is working hard to break its monotonous presence as graphics card manufacturer in the market. ITVoir NewsDesk |
