Oracle did not comment on the announcement made regarding to spend the $70 billion on its future acquisition. There were some comments made which stated that Oracle has planned to spend whopping $70 billion to buy the companies within the next five years.
Regarding the statement, Oracle has issued a clarification, stating that they cannot say anything about it, but, on the other hand, it was said that it all depends upon the market situation as well as demand.
At present, Oracle is engaged in absorbing the last big acquisition, which was Sun Microsystems, a purchase which moved them into the hardware business and has many more acquisitions in their mind. Oracle expects itself to go in the verticals like sizable health care software vendor Cerner.
