WatchGuard Technologies held its annual felicitation fiesta ‘Channel Awards Night on 24th February, 2012 in Mumbai. The gala event was held under much fanfare and witnessed 100+ gathering of partners across the country. Mr. Terry Haas, Vice President, International Sales, WatchGuard was the chief guest for the evening.

2011 has been yet another exciting year for WatchGuard. The Company achieved record breaking growth worldwide. During the year, many new security solutions and appliances (Application web control, reputation enabled defense, XTM v11.5.1, XTM 2050, XTM 3 series) were launched and added to the existing comprehensive range of business security solutions catering to the need of large enterprise, mid market and SMB. XTM v series of virtual firewalls to provide enhanced security to virtualized and cloud infrastructure is in the road map (beta version is already available).

There were total 12 award categories and 22 contributory awards. The wide award categories included Best Channel Partner, Best Channel Partner 'B' Class Cities, Best Salesman of the Year, Best Engineer of the Year, Best Upcoming Distributor, Best Upcoming Channel Partner, Best Distributor of the year, Best Channel Partner of the Year and other 2011 Contribution Awards.

The company is looking forward to the continued association and support by the partners in order do better with time. They intend to organize this event every year as an annual tradition in different parts of the country.
