Belkin Asia Pacific Limited, the recognized leader in connectivity solutions, accessories for MP3 devices and computers has announced the appointment of Mohit Anand, as its India Country Manager with immediate effect. Based in Delhi, Mohit is charged with leading Belkin’s strategy and business in India.

Mohit Anand, who until recently spearheaded Channel [V] for Star India Pvt. Ltd. and  prior to that Microsoft’s Entertainment and Devices Division in India, is an acknowledged expert in managing retail, Gaming, Media and entertainment partner relationships and has been credited with successfully leading the Microsoft Hardware and Interactive Entertainment business, including the launch of Xbox360, in the Indian sub-continent.

He is also the founding member of IGita (Indian Gaming Industry Trade Association). Prior to this, he worked with Iris Computers Ltd., Tangerine Informatique Ltd. and Dave Thomson Associates.
