Targeted to connect better with customers and to provide quick services, Belkin is ready to set up a warehousing facility in India depending on the launch of Goods and Services Tax in the country.

Mohit Anand, Managing Director, Belkin India has stated that India is a big market to expand business and Belkin is ready to set up a new warehouse, but that depends upon the roll out of GST.

It is important to note that GST, a new indirect taxes regime that will subsume various state and Central levies, is expected to be rolled out in India early next year.

Further, Anand also added that GST will help the company on the larger perspective, with uniform fee collection. The US-based company Belkin has two warehouse facilities in the Asia-Pacific region.

Belkin is intended to generate revenue of Rs 250 crore in September 2012 compared to previous figures of Rs 150 crore. And in near future, the company aims to generate revenue of Rs 1,000 crore over the next three years.
