With a focus on marketing and distributing advanced networking products, Edimax Technology announces that it is going to ramp up its operations in the Indian market.
 
The company has appointed Ravians Kumar as Director Sales-India, OBM Sales Division to take care of whole region and very soon there will be four business development managers onboard to represent four regions – Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore & Kolkata.  
 
Recently, the company also has invested in opening its corporate office at Nehru Place, New Delhi. The company has appointed two national distributors i.e. Jupiter International Ltd. & Neoteric Informatiqe Ltd. to make the products available across various markets.
 
 
By this expansion, not only Edimax expands its presence across the country but also remains closer to the customers’ community to understand their needs and respond to it fairly quickly. This expansion will of course come in a phased manner.
 
Since the service is the major issue, Edimax has taken strategic decision to provide services through their own resources. At present the company is giving 2.5 per cent of extra stock to its distributor partner to address the warranty issue and the company follows off-the-shelf replacement policy. The company expects to minimise the turn around time of the replacements to 24 – 48 hours. However, the time span could vary depending upon the product availability and Geographies.
 
Addressing the fluctuating dollar price, he said that they pledge to protect the investment of the partners and there won’t be any price hike at present on the products available in the Indian market. The company is able to sustain the slow down because of its strong financial backbone and own manufacturing.
 
 
At present Edimax is targeting small to medium-sized enterprises and the small office/home office space with its range of High-End Wireless Networking products like nMax & nLite and MFP print servers, Load-Balancing Router, High-End Switches. Edimax redefines the digital home networking, breaks free from the idea that everything needs to be centred on the computer and pioneers the whole new idea of  "Networking Home Solution" for the reason that the Internet is the golden rule.  In order to take the home networking to the heart of the users, Edimax is demonstrating this concept at GITEX, Dubai.
 
Edimax's product range covers everything from basic devices such as routers, modems, switches, and WLAN adapters, to products like NAS, NAC, print servers and projector servers with special applications. The company also has plans to bag major ISP & Telecom projects as Edimax has strong R&D team and manufacturing facility to customize the product as per customer’s requirement.
