Netmagic Solutions, India’s leading managed IT hosting services provider, today announced release of its next generation cloud computing platform developed along with VMware and Cisco Systems. This cloud computing platform leverages VMware vSphere and Cisco’s Unified Computing System (UCS) to provide a robust cloud solution for enterprises and service providers.
Netmagic’s engineering team jointly collaborated with VMware and Cisco to develop a high performance Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platform that meets global standards and will allow organizations to leverage benefits of using a cloud environment that offers scalability, security and reliable migration.
Netmagic is one of the first VMware Service Provider Program (VSPP) partners in India to develop the orchestration layer on top of the VMware virtualization platform. Enterprises can now benefit by leveraging the managed services being provided by Netmagic on top of Cisco’s cloud optimized system. At the same time service providers can take their offerings to market faster by offering this as a white label solution.
“We are very excited about our partnership with Netmagic for developing a global, best-in-class Public Cloud (IaaS) platform,” said T. Srinivasan, Managing Director, VMware India and SAARC. “The VSPP enables our partners like Netmagic to offer solutions that provide cost-effective, custom-made cloud infrastructure through a simplified, easily accessible service model. This partnership will create new opportunities to offer virtualization-enabled solutions, applications and services for their customers and sets the foundation for greater profitability. I am optimistic that this strategic partnership will help accelerate the proliferation of innovative cloud services and solutions in India.”
