Since the announcements by Finnish mobile vendor to bring in Windows Phone, Microsoft has been eagerly waiting the launch of device. Meanwhile, vendors including Samsung, LG and HTC have landed their Windows phone in the market but Nokia is yet to launch.
Earlier this year, the largest mobile maker Nokia has announced that going forward it will bring phones based on Windows operating system but a running model is still missing. However, watchers are expecting an announcement around Windows phone in the upcoming Nokia annual conference. Nokia is badly struggling in Smartphone market and losing its ground to its rivals. In wake of reviving its position, Nokia’s CEO Stephen Elop decided to move ahead with Windows phone.
Similarly, the venture is quite significant for Microsoft too that has been witnessing an eroding market share in Smartphone segment. The alliance is a significant move for both to clamber out from the rivals. It is being expected that Nokia shall be displaying two handsets running on Windows phone: high end and low end Smartphone; however, analysts are expecting it to launch something that distinguishes it from the league and interest the device aficionados.
