Transcend Information has proudly announced that its StoreJet 25M3 received the best ranking in a review of eight 2.5” USB 3.0 portable hard drives conducted by Europe’s biggest computer magazine “ComputerBild” (issue No. 13/2012). Thanks to its impressive dual-mode USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 transfer speed and durable anti-shock rubber outer case, Transcend’s StoreJet 25M3 was recognized as overall “Test Winner”, outperforming competing products in speed, operating noise, handling, and extra features.
During the review, the eight 2.5’’ portable hard drives of well-known manufacturers were subject to extensive performance and reliability tests, including a drop-test from a height of fifty centimeters conducted ten times. Due to its rugged slip-resistant silicone outer shell and advanced three-stage shock protection system, Transcend’s StoreJet 25M3 survived this test without any problems.
The reviewers at ComputerBild highlighted the StoreJet 25M3’s "One Touch" auto-backup system, that can instantly backup and synchronize data for safe keeping, as a major advantage. The only hard drive tested with an extra-long three-year warranty, the StoreJet 25M3 also includes Transcend Elite data management software, which allows users to keep their rich digital content organized, protected and up-to-date.
ComputerBild, Europe's biggest computer magazine with over 860,000 readers, published fortnightly, provides up-to-date information and background knowledge on the subjects of computers, telecommunications, online services and home electronics.
