ZyXEL Communications, a world-class networking company that provides innovative and reliable Internet solutions for customers ranging from telecommunications service providers, medium-sized businesses to home users, announces the appointment of Mr. Gordon Yang as the President of ZyXEL Communications. Mr. Yang will be responsible for leading the development of business direction and strategy and the execution of business plans to continue ZyXEL’s growth and momentum. The appointment was approved by the Board of Directors at the Board Meeting in July.
Prior to this new position, Mr. Yang was the President of ZyXEL’s European Regional Business for about three years, with full responsibility for business expansion and operational performance enhancement in Europe. As a veteran of the company, Mr. Yang has been working with ZyXEL since 1991, when he initially demonstrated his great capabilities in aligning ZyXEL’s technical competence with business partners’ outstanding sales skills to achieve impressive results on the first modem product. Over the next twenty years, Mr.Yang has taken up numerous responsibilities in ZyXEL, ranging from product development and operational supervision to business expansion.
All shareholders have been impressed with his creative initiatives, leadership skills, managerial excellence, and strong ambition for success. With this new appointment, Mr.Yang will continue to lead ZyXEL with more initiatives concerning all aspects such as products, solutions, services and marketing activities in a systematic and efficient way to create optimal synergies in the best interest of our customers and for ZyXEL’s long-term business success and continuity.
