Apple Inc, the famous iPhone maker has started selling its 3G enabled iPads that are able to connect to the Internet over AT&T's data network. iPad 3G is available with a price range in between $629 to $829.
Apple had initiated its iPad (only Wi-Fi model) delivery from April 3. The 3G iPad costs $130 more than the corresponding Wi-Fi-only model. People who pre-ordered the device would receive the tablet starting from Saturday.
Last week, AT&T has announced two different plans for its 3G iPad customers; a $15 per month plan (250MB data transfer) and a $30 per month plan (unlimited data transfer).
Apple has also provided essential information about the steps, iPad owners have to take up with an AT&T data plan. According to a research firm, Apple iPad has already captured 0.04% of the worldwide online usage market, which is comparable to RIM’s BlackBerry usage.
