Dell Inc, the world’s number three PC manufacturer has updated its Precision M6500 notebook with Intel’s latest microprocessor and built-in USB 3.0 ports.
It is reported that the precision M6500 model will offer a choice of using Intel Core i5 and Core i7 dual-core processors, in addition to quad-core i7 chips.
The device will feature 17-inch RGB LED display, Quadro FX graphics and the Qualcomm Gobi 2 3G modem. In addition, the laptop has a 3.2-megapixel webcam and a 64GB SSD mini card. Further, users have the ability to use upto three hard drives, so that consumers need not worry about storage constraints.
Further, the device will support the USB 3.0 standard that can provide data transfer of upto 5Gbps speed. At present, the device comes with the price range of $2750-$4220. But, the company has not announced the exact price changes for the new versions.
The company added that the new dual-core configuration will be available by the end of the ongoing month.
