Hewlett Packard, the world’s largest PC maker has unveiled its ARM-Based Android Airlife Smartbook.

The company was one of the first to showcase one such model back in February, dubbed as the Compaq Airlife 100. However, the exact specifications were not detailed by the company.

Now, the device is recently added on its official website. The new smartbook has a 10.1-inch resistive touchscreen display with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution, 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 chipset, 512MB RAM, and a built-in flash storage unit of 16GB.

The device features a 92%-sized keyboard 3G, Wi-Fi connectivity and an SD card slot for extra storage. The company claims that its 28 Wh typical Li-Polymer battery can offer upto 12 hours of backup after full recharge.

At present, the device is not available for sale and the company has not detailed when the shipments commence. However, it is reported that the device will be available with Telefonica in Latin America and some European markets.
