Lenovo Group, the PC maker has introduced its LePhone mobile phone, which is powered by Google's Android 2.1 operating system.
At CES, the company had showcased the device with its hybrid UI and Skylight. The device features a 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, QWERTY keyboard, long-life battery and inbuilt speakers.
It is reported that the device will have a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon chip along with two cameras, one forward-facing and one back-facing.
At the side of the device, there is a button which turns on gesture support and can be used with Google Maps.
Recently, the company said that 10-20% of its revenues will come from the mobile Internet services within five years. Further, the company claims that its handset would perform better than Research In Motion's BlackBerry handsets.
At present, the computer maker has launched the device in Chinese market but it will reportedly plan the launch of its new Lenovo LePhone in other markets too.
