Lenovo Group, China-based multinational computer technology corporation has launched a new model in its ThinkServer range, called as ThinkServer TS 200v.
The company claimed that the new product will be suitable for small businesses and will offer strong performance with reliability, energy efficiency and improved management features.
Lenovo said that the TS 200v comes with enterprise-class features like memory error correction and inbuilt RAID protection. It can be remotely managed by Intel's Active Management Technology, which will help small companies who cannot afford full-time administrative staff.
The server is easy to set up and manage, and features “Always On” functionality, which ensures protection of performance even when the server is off.
With a starting price tag of £313, the TS 200v meets the Energy Star for Servers 1.0 criteria for green IT and is suitable for SMBs and SOHO.
