MSI, the Taiwanese vendor is reportedly planning to push its Big Bang-XPower in the market for gamers and over-clockers.

The company has recently launched a considerable number of AMD 800 Series-based motherboards and Hydra 200-enabled platforms. After much of AMD backed launches, the company is now turning its focus to Intel based platforms and targeting the power hungers. The company is touted to debut its ultimate power beast MSI Big Bang-XPower for around 300 Euro.

As per the technical specifications, the motherboard is expected to come with X58 socket and with 6 DDR3 slots to overcome overclocking limitations. Among other specifications, it boasts of Hi-c CAP, Solid Caps, and Icy Chokes, OC Genie overclocking technology, APS (Active Phase Switching) and V-Check points.

Apart from the above mentioned specifications, it boards 8-pin power connectors, a 16-phase DrMOS PWM and a passive cooling system with six PCI Express X16 slots, a pair of SATA 6.0 Gbps ports, six SATA 3.0Gbps connectors, dual Gigabit Ethernet, FireWire, two USB 3.0 ports and two eSATA connectors. The last but not the least, the all new MSI platform comes packed with PCIe x1 Quantum Wave audio card.
