Added On:3/16/2012 12:22:00 PM

MMD has launched Philips IPS model 227E3QPHSU - a 21.5 inch LED monitor with PowerSensor and 16:9 full HD screen. This impressive, elegant, slim design IPS monitor complements your home décor. It has modern Touch controls and translucent blue bezel with glossy finish which gives an attractive looks to this model.

In Plane Switching (IPS) is an advanced technology which gives you extra wide viewing angles of 178/178 degree and makes it possible to view the display from almost any angle - even in 90 degree Pivot model. Unlike standard TN panels, IPS display gives you remarkably crisp images with vivid colors, making it ideal not only for Photos, movies and web browsing, but also for professional applications which demand color accuracy and consistent brightness at all times. This IPS monitor has PowerSensor attribute with a built-in “people sensor” to determine user presence. In the absence of user, the screen brightness goes down, thus cutting energy costs by almost 80 per cent.

Slim in its outlook, this Philips Monitor is mercury free and come with a dynamic SmartContrast ratio of 20000000:1, yielding crisp and crystal clear viewing experience, making them one of their kinds in the LED monitors industry.

The display features an optimum resolution of 1920x 1080 @ 60 Hz, pixel pitch of 0.248 x 0.248 mm, with a typical smart response time of 7 ms and a brightness of 250cd/m2.

Given its sustainability on environmental and energy grounds, its packaging material is cent percent recyclable. Also, the monitor comes with a tilt stand of -5/20 degree and has a glossy finish to its black with blue tint color. Other distinct features of the Philips IPS model are:
