The economic crunch is making the share prices of each company to stumble. The companies are following the measures to cut costs and making the funds stable.

In the times of declining stock prices, AMD leads the hierarchy.  AMD purchased ATI in 2006 for $5.4 billion but its current market capitalization rests at $1.1 billion. Its stock prices are at record lowest, currently at $1.75 per share. The recovery projections are hindered by the crunch.

Intel is also touching the 12 year lows in the prices for its market share with price of $12.28 per share. Also, the company is uncertain about the Q4 earnings. It is failing to meet the expectations of analysts.

Among others which are at their lowest is Motorola. Motorola is at $3.06, its lowest price in almost 20 years.

In the overall tech industry, Apple and Oracle are the only real positive notes. Oracle is at $15.50, slightly up from the $12 range which the company touched at the dot-com bust in the early 2000s. Oracle is still increasing overall and near all-time highs.

Apple is at $81.24, which is where they were back in April, 2007. In fact, Apple today is over $40 higher per share than at the peak of the dot-com bubble in 2000/2001.
