According to a latest report, Yahoo India has appointed Anindo Roy as Vice President of Yahoo! India Research & Development’s Solutions.
Sources informed, Anindo will now drive the regional Media products for Yahoo. The Media Engineering group in India oversees platform and publishing tools along with engineering for all regional media products.
Prior to joining Yahoo, Anindo was serving as VP Engineering and Site leader for Fair Isaac India (FICO). At FICO, Anindo played a significant role of transforming the India center into a global development center. Before that, Anindo held various leadership positions at Oracle, which included a 12-years at the Oracle head quarter in Redwood Shores, California, and 2-years at Oracle India Development Center in Bangalore.
It is worth noticing that Anindo is joining Yahoo! with 21 years of management and development experience in the software Industry in the US as well as in India.
Established 10 years ago, Bangalore is Yahoo’s second largest R&D centre globally which has delivered more than 20 products across media, technology and platform portfolios. Some significant products include Yahoo! Cricket, Yahoo! Video, Polyads and Predict.
