Apple unveiled its new range of MacBook Pro notebook computers with advanced and improved features compared to the previous versions, sources reported. The new lineup runs twice as fast as before and also has HD video camera along with better graphics.

Intel reportedly has powered these Pro’s, by their dual core and quad core chips, sources added. The USP of the new MacBook is Intel’s thunderbolt technology which is faster and compact and through a single port facilitates high resolution displays and devices.

Different MacBook’s are slated at varied prices such as the 13 inch Pro values $1,199, which is accompanied with a full size keyboard, seven hour battery and an aluminum case. Similarly, the 15 inch and 17 inch are priced at $1,799 and $2,499 respectively, sources reported.

According to sources, Apple has been the first who has attached the thunderbolt to support displays and external drives.

Intel is planning to sell the same technology for high speed connections to rest of PC manufacturers too.
