At an upcoming event to be held in Cupertino on Oct14, it is now officially declared that Apple will announce the next line of products in notebook category.
According to trusted sources, the company is once again turning its spotlight to notebook segment. Recently, the company announced its new line of iPods in an event named “Let’s Rock” event.
Turning to what is expected; tech watchers expect that new notebooks may be Centrino 2-based. But they are sure to get updates in MacBook Pros, as Apple can take advantage of Intel’s latest mobile-technology update.
No drastic changes will be integrated in design but new models can sport black, lozenge-style keyboards used on the MacBook Air.
Based on speculations, it is drawn that new notebooks can have changes like the elimination of Firewire 400 ports for Firewire 800 and a mini DVI port in place of a full-size DVI connector. Also, an HDMI port can be expected.
The wild expectations even suggest that you can hop e for Apple MacBooks at price lower than before. Going more far the speculations even suggest that Apple can bring its MacBook Nano, thus foraying into mini notebook segment.
