As per a latest update, telecom service provider Bharti Airtel has forayed into India's mobile advertising segment. With the latest update, Airtel will facilitate advertisers to connect with their potential customers in a personalized way through their mobile phones.
It is reportedly said that Airtel's m-Advertising platform is designed to meet demands of different advertisers including inventory management, campaign management, reporting and analytics.
Presently, India's mobile advertising market is valued at over Rs.100 crore, which is likely to reach to Rs 144 crore by 2013.
K Srinivas, President-consumer business at Bharti Airtel has shared his views that personalization, sharp segmentation and contextualization are increasingly making mobile advertising an exciting proposition for brands.
He further added, the mobile advertising market poised to grow by more than 40 percent over the next few years and Airtel with its innovative technology is prepared to uniquely leverage this growing medium.
Besides Airtel, in April 2012, Ozone Media had entered the mobile advertising segment by signing a partnership deal with Times Internet Limited.
