According to a latest update, the CEO Michael Klayko of Brocade Communications has announced its plans to leave the company.

It is reportedly said that Michael Klayko has been the CEO of Brocade since 2005. He led the company through two major acquisitions and has positioned the company as a technology leader and world-class provider of networking solutions.

Reliable insiders informed, the Board has now formed a search committee and will retain an executive recruiting firm to identify the best candidate to lead the next phase of Brocade's growth. Mr. Klayko will continue to serve as CEO of Brocade during the search.

Brocade's Chairman, Dave House has stated, he wanted to thank Mike for his more than seven years of service as CEO.  He wished him the best and appreciating his continued service to Brocade as the Company works to identify the right leader to assume his role.

Michael Klayko, CEO of Brocade has also shared his views with us that his latest decision was never easy. However, he believed that it is the right time. The Company is in a great position financially, and his product pipeline will continue to strengthen and clearly separate Brocade from other networking providers. Until a successor is identified, he remained focused on his role as CEO and on continuing to execute Brocade’s strategy.
