The tech war between two biggies, Apple and Samsung has again taken a dramatic twist. According to a latest update, a US judge has granted Apple's bid to stop Samsung Electronics from selling its Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet in the United States.
Apple has reportedly claimed that Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 violates 10 Apple patents. The patents include touchscreen technology, look and feel of Apple’s remarkable iPad.
Powered with Google's Android operating system, Samsung’s Galaxy Tabs are considered as a significant rival to the market-leading iPads by many industry experts.
It is found, Apple has started an international patent war in 2010 as part of its attempt to restrict the growth of Google's Android operating system, which has been widely adapted by numerous mobile device makers all over the world.
As a matter of concern, it is found that this is not the first time when two tech bigwigs, Apple and Samsung are against each other. The two technology honchos have been locked in many revengeful battles in different countries involving smartphone and tablet patents.
Analysts quote, the latest ban has given the iPhone maker a significant win in the global smartphone and tablet patent wars.
