With high speed mobile broadband connections and the remarkable increase in adoption of smartphones which will soon rival desktops in terms of processing power, gaming companies are now eying Indian market for their business expansion. 

If reports are to be believed, game development companies are facing saturation and in some cases even stagnation in the developed countries like USA. This is the reason that firms like EA Sports are now planning to develop a market in India.

It is found, market for games that run even on basic feature phones still exists. Acknowledging the scenario, EA is all set to unleash more than 40 games that can be played on relatively small mobile screens of standard feature phones. 

Market experts added, it is heartening to know that India is now being seen as a potential market for gaming. But nothing can be concluded as of now. The consoles are still at immature stage in emerging markets in India. 

Seems, this year will be the biggest year for gaming industry in India.
