Some internal sources have reported that leading BPO player Genpact is all set to acquire US-based Triumph Engineering. If reports are to be believed, Genpact has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Triumph Engineering Corp.
It is reportedly said that Triumph Engineering provides engineering and technical services to aviation, energy, and gas industries.
Insiders informed, with the latest deal, Triumph will enhance Genpact's services portfolio for the infrastructure and manufacturing sector by integrating improved capabilities in the large and high-growth segment of engineering and technical services.
As part of the deal, 90 Triumph employees will now become part of Genpact's Infrastructure, Manufacturing and Services (IMS) vertical, trusted sources informed.
However, terms of the deal have not been disclosed by any of the firms.
Tiger Tyagarajan, President & CEO at Genpact has shared his views on its latest acquisition. He states, the latest acquisition is an excellent opportunity for Genpact. The company is seeing a huge demand for engineering services in highly technology-intensive industries like aviation, energy and oil and gas. This acquisition will allow Genpact to combine Triumph’s onsite expertise and depth in engineering with company’s global scale, end-to-end process management, analytics, and technology capabilities to meet growing demand.
