According to recent report, Google Inc is preparing to roll out a new service Google Drive that lets consumers store photos and other content online, very soon.
The new Google Drive is likely to be offered with both free and premium for-pay versions.
It is reportedly said that Google's "cloud storage" offering will incorporate search capabilities and allow users to store pictures, notes and other documents on the Internet and access them from any Web-connected device.
With this new service, Google users will get 5 Gigabytes of storage for free. However, different versions with incrementally more storage capacity up to 100 Gibabytes, would also be available. However, users will be required to pay additional monthly fee for it.
Some analysts believe, Google’s long-anticipated file-sharing service, Google Drive has a lot in common with Google Docs and might even have the same features. A person having closed information on the matter informed our team, drive.google.com hosts a robots.txt file which is quite similar to the one at docs.google.com, differing only by three or four lines.
Seems, Google is going to create a Google Drive that has the same features, but with the addition of offline syncing and other file-sharing options.
