Google Glasses: A futuristic approach to live streaming
Added On:6/29/2012 11:17:00 AM

As a part of Google’s ongoing commitment to foster innovation among its users, the company is now planning to introduce an innovative way to search for information, read text messages, watch online video and post photos on social networks without having to fumble around with a hand-held device.

The breakthrough is a wearable computer, reports informed.

It is reportedly said that the search giant was secretly working on a pair of Internet-connected glasses on from past  two years. Now, Google’s futuristic experiment is moving closer to reality and becoming a mass-market product very soon.

The eyewear features built-in camera, microphone and speaker technology and can efficiently synchronize to the Internet using wireless connections.

Intending to suggest improvements and build applications that will make the glasses even more useful, Google is selling a prototype of the glasses to US computer programmers for $1,500.

According to Sergey Brin, Google’s co-founder, if all goes well, a less expensive version of the glasses is expected to go on sale for consumers in early 2014.

Brin further added, Google still needs to fix a variety of bugs in the glasses and figure out how to make the battery last longer so users can wear them for longer hours.

Market watchers added, Google may face criticism for its latest product as the latest innovation shortens attention spans and makes it more difficult for people to fully appreciate what's happening around them.

Well! It is difficult to say anything before its actual launch. So, stay connected to get more information on this.
