HCL Infosystems ties-up with Cisco to offer WebEx solutions

As per a recent update, IT hardware and services company HCL Infosystems has joined hands with networking giant Cisco to offer web and video conferencing platform to enterprises in the country. 

Insiders informed, HCL will offer Cisco's 'WebEx' solutions through its distribution channel of 500 company-owned touch points as well as customers. To the reader’s surprise, HCL has its customers in over 4000 towns across the country.

According to D Mohanty Vice-President Sales at HCL Infosystems, company’s distribution reach, innovative solutions and direct sales force altogether will lend the desired resources to enable Cisco WebEx for SMEs, large corporates and government organizations in India. 

Market watchers added, with the latest move, HCL Infosystems and Cisco are aiming to expand their market reach. This way, they will tap into the growing need for B2C (business to customer) and B2B (business to business) collaboration tools and technologies, across the country. 

It is worth noticing, Cisco WebEx has over 6 million registered hosts' worldwide and an average of 7.6 million meetings hosted each month.
