According to a latest update, Infosys Technologies has launched a new solution, Infosys Cloud Ecosystem Hub. It is believed the new solution will help companies to manage their cloud applications and infrastructure through a single platform.
It is reportedly said that the new solution by Infosys will also facilitate easy monitoring of cloud resource usage and optimizes utilization.
Vishnu Bhat, Vice President and Global Head (Cloud) at Infosys has shared his views, after 5-7 years, 60 percent of the IT workload is expected to be on the cloud, which would be a mix of public and private cloud. The proposed solution is aimed to help companies manage fragmented IT environment, providing a unified platform and seamless experience.
Bhat further added, using the solution, businesses can accelerate time-to-market of cloud services by up to 40 percent, improve productivity by up to 20 percent and achieve cost-savings of up to 30 per cent.
Presently, Infosys is working with over 30 of the world's leading providers of cloud infrastructure, applications and platforms including HP, IBM, Dell, Hitachi Data Systems, Amazon Web Services, CA Technologies, Microsoft and VMware among others.
