Internet will have a 'blackout' on July 9?
Added On:7/6/2012 11:06:00 AM

The search giant Google has reportedly issued a warning message to about a quarter-million computer users that they may lose the ability to connect to the internet on July 9th.

It is reportedly said that the latest shutdown will happen due to a computer virus.

Reliable sources informed, Google will be rolling out alerts to users via a special message which will appear at the top of the Google search results page for users with affected computers.

However, some analysts consider the latest threat to be small compared with more-prevalent viruses such as Zeus and SpyEye, which infect millions of PCs and are used to commit financial fraud.

As a matter of concern, it is found, the problem began when an international online advertising scam has been disclosed.

To the reader’s surprise, the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) has set up a safety net months ago using government computers to prevent Internet disruptions for those infected users. However, those systems will be shut down on July 9 to kill connections for malicious content.

It is important to note, after July 9, infected users won't be able to connect to the internet.
