Some interesting rumors have surfaced predicting that IBM is mulling to buy Research In Motion's enterprise division.
According to a pair of anonymous insiders, IBM has made an informal approach for the enterprise business that operates the servers used for supporting BlackBerry email and messaging services.
However, market experts believe, Research In Motion's will not finalize anything before the launch of its BlackBerry 10 powered handsets early next year. BlackBerry 10 is a QNX-based operating system which is intended to help RIM to fight against its major rivals Google and Apple, which have swallowed up a big portion of BlackBerry mobile device’s market with their devices. Just like Apple's iOS and Google's Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating systems, BlackBerry 10 is going to be a common platform for smartphones and tablets.
The Big Blue brand, IBM’s 's approach to RIM is characterized as being "informal" as no company has made a legitimate offer to buy the entire company, or the division that manufacturers handsets and tablets.
However, RIM officials declined to comment on the latest rumor, while IBM officials were not immediately available. So, it is difficult to anything confirm on this. Stay hooked to get more information on this.
