The tech giant Lenovo has reportedly announced the appointment of Sudipto Ghosh as new Executive Director - Service and Support.
Reliable insiders informed, in his new role, Sudipto will lead customer service, Contact Center, Field Service, Service Business and Customer Delight functions for Lenovo India. He would be responsible for establishing strong connection between end-to-end customer service and support across the three significant segments of business including consumer, relational and SMB.
Sudipto is also an Honorary Member in the Advisory Board of ‘The Service Council’, Boston, USA, which is a global community of Services Executives.
Prior to joining Lenovo, Sudipto has held senior roles such as Chief Customer Support Officer at Acer India, where he worked hard to create company’s service infrastructure. Besides Acer, he has also worked on various responsible positions in different tech companies including Compaq India, Pertech Computers Limited and Tata Steel.
Commenting at the time of Sudipto’s appointment, Amar Babu, Managing Director, Lenovo India has stated, the company is pleased to appoint Sudipto. He joined Lenovo with a proven track record in leading the Service business. He will continue to strengthen the management on the back of his strong success in the Indian market.
He further added, Sudipto will aggressively chart out clear cut service and support strategies and transformation to help Lenovo to enhance customer service and customer delight in India.
Sudipto holds a B. Tech Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering as well as an MBA in Technology Management.
