It is reportedly said that CNBC is going to form an alliance with Yahoo! Finance through which viewers and readers are likely to get the best of both worlds.
Beginning today, CNBC will be the premier content provider for Yahoo! Finance. The Yahoo! Finance audience will notice significant changes on Yahoo’s homepage, where CNBC news articles and in-depth analysis would be more prominently featured, insiders informed.
Besides content partnership, both the companies have also partnered on creating co-branded, original videos that will appear on CNBC.com and Yahoo Finance.
As a matter of concern, it is found that Yahoo Finance is one of the most visited business destinations on the Internet, while CNBC is the dominant business news channel.
Ross Levinsohn, interim CEO of Yahoo has shared his views on Yahoo’s latest partnership that the company’s mission is to create the richest and most powerful experiences for users each and every day.
Market experts believe, the latest move will increase CNBC’s presence on the site, which attracts an audience of close to 40 million a month.
The companies did not reveal any financial details of the latest multi-year deal.
