According to a latest update, Microsoft India employees have developed a technology marked as 'Kinect Bridge' that would help for hearing and speech impaired people to communicate with others.
Sources informed, the new technology was developed using Microsoft’s Kinect device that detects objects without touching. It is used by Microsoft for its gaming console.
Besides the new Kinect Bridge technology, Microsoft employees have also developed a device for the blind that helps them to navigate their way to destination safely through objects in an indoor space.
He further added, hand gestures will be recognized by the device and will be converted as text or voice.
Market watchers added, the latest move is Microsoft’s first step towards solving real-world issues.
