Microsoft has updated its ERP solutions targeted to midmarket. Microsoft has brought Dynamics NAV 2009, the latest generation of company’s midmarket ERP products. The updated ERP solution will be available by Dec. 1 in 14 countries. The latest release features a “role tailored” design that fine-tunes the system for a given employee’s needs and job responsibilities. NAV 2009 also includes a range of BI (business intelligence) features, .NET Web Services, for connecting Dynamics with other applications and functionality.
Other than ERP release, the company has plans to announce the addition of a new feature to Dynamics CRM 4.0, eService Accelerator. The new feature will allow companies to offer Web-based, self-service features for customers, cutting down on call center costs.
The other announcement will include addition of peer networking features for the Microsoft Dynamics Community Web site. Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 will be available on Dec. 1. But Microsoft is still not ready to embrace another trend like on-demand enterprise software for its ERP lineup. Vinod Negi/ITVoir Network |
