According to Ravinder Raina, Country Head, Private Network Solutions, NEC India, the company is expecting about half of its total revenues from the enterprise segment by 2012-end.
He further added, NEC will advertise through vertical-specific magazines and start online campaigns from mid-June.
Recently, NEC has acquired enterprise customers like the Intercontinental Eros, New Delhi; the Grand Intercontinental, Mumbai; the Courtyard Marriott, Chennai; the Crown Plaza, Gurgaon; the ITC Chola Sheraton, Chennai etc. Besides hospitality, the company is also targeting other segments for its business expansion including health, education, manufacturing and government verticals for its enterprise UC solutions.
As a matter of concern, it is found, NEC is betting big on its recently launched enterprise product Univerge 3C which is a unified communications and collaboration (UC&C) software. It integrates rich Internet application (RIA) framework to deliver UC&C tools over the Web to offer Web and security infrastructure to enterprises.
