Nokia fails to make a successful come back?

Intending to re-enter the US smartphone market, struggling cellphone maker Nokia has recently launched Lumia 900 smartphone in the US. It is found; there is a software bug in Nokia’s new flagship Lumia 900 model. 

It is reportedly said that the model went on sale in the United States through AT&T on April 8 and is expected to be launched globally by next month.  

According to Jo Harlow, Nokia smartphone unit Chief and Chris Weber, Nokia US Chief, a memory management issue has been discovered that could, in some cases, lead to loss of data connectivity. It is clear that the issue is purely in the phone software, and is not related to either phone hardware or the network itself. 

In response, a spokesperson from Nokia stated that Nokia said that it has already created a software fix for the glitch and will release it to users on April 16. In addition, customers can also swap their devices at an AT&T store for an updated one, trusted sources informed.  

It is worth noticing, the Finnish giant has lost smartphone market supremacy to Apple and Google due to its weak performance in the United States. Nokia’s new Lumia 900 smartphone has used Microsoft's Windows Phone software which is a key component in Nokia’s comeback bid. 

Nokia and Microsoft have teamed up last year to create smartphones powered with Microsoft’s new Windows software for release world-wide
