The alliance is not been welcome, as cited by the reports by a group of nine young Nokia shareholders. The group is protesting against the decision of ruling out its own operating system for Windows Phone 7. The online protest is carried out via nokiaplanb.com and is forcing the decision taking authorities to reject the alliance.

The protestors are claiming that Nokia should not hand over the software layer to other vendor since it is the key for innovation and differentiation. Instead, the company should try and revive the strategy with bundle of new innovative products coupled with unrivalled user experience. The company should focus on hiring the talent and bring in efforts towards creating the shareholder value, suggested supporting facts.

Moreover, the Finnish giant has lost around 20% of share value since the deal was announced.
